The Pod & Pip Puzzle

Always a bestseller in the Pod & Pip shop at Christmas are Jigsaw Puzzles. So we decided to take matters into our own hands this year, and have the talented Hannah Watchorn paint our very own Cutting Garden at Pod & Pip. 

We use our Cutting Garden for a myriad of purposes, including flower workshops, wedding flowers, snipping for bouquets, gardening workshops, and inspiration for our customers, us and a Jigsaw puzzle now too!

It’s believed English engraver John Spilsbury created the first jigsaw puzzle around 1760, and and used it to teach geography, many generations and years later the jigsaw is still hugely popular selling millions globally each year. Its also believed jigsaws can help with Alzheimer’s and by keeping the brain active. The jigsaw also provides a wonderful mindful activity that can be enjoyed by all the family, young and old and there’s nothing better than fixing that final piece of the jigsaw in place!

Our 1000 piece Pod & Pip jigsaw puzzle is beautifully illustrated with the Pod & Pip Cutting Garden in full bloom. Animals and birds (all resident at Pod & Pip) add interesting details alongside the Cutting Garden flowers. A perfect gift for hours of entertainment and a reminder that in the cold winter months the gardens will be in full bloom once again.
